IBs were asked to report the amount generated in gross commissions annually by their IB. About 25 percent
said it was in excess of $1 million; this percentage is up slightly from 2004.
Nearly 20 percent of the IBs responding said their IB generated less than $100,000 in gross commissions; 10
percent reported from $250,000 to $300,000; 10 percent reported from $300,000 to slightly below $500,000;
35 percent reported generating at least $500,000 annually.
